How do you play Couples Trivia?
Couples Trivia asks factual questions about a couple's own shared history — the first date venue, who said I love you first, what month you met — which both partners answer independently before comparing. Unlike guessing games, there is a correct answer and a definitive winner.
How to play
- Both write your answer down before anyone says it out loud.
- Reveal together. Both correct, both score. One correct, one scores.
- Where you disagree about a fact, argue it out and score nobody.
- Add up at the end.
- Where neither of you knows, that is a zero and slightly embarrassing.
Why couples love this game
It is the only quiz here with objectively right answers, which produces a completely different energy — people get properly competitive about the name of a restaurant they went to four years ago. The disputed questions, where you each remember a different fact, are consistently the best part of the evening.
A trivia round where every question has a correct answer and the answer is somewhere in your shared history. What was the name of the restaurant. What month did we meet. Who said I love you first.

- Write answers down before revealing. Otherwise the second person just agrees.
- Photos and old messages settle disputes. Getting the phone out is part of the game.

Frequently asked questions
What are good trivia questions about your relationship?
Ones with a checkable answer. Dates, places, names, and orders work; "how did you feel" does not, because there is nothing to be right about.
What if we remember a fact differently?
Nobody scores, and you have found something better than a trivia question. Old photos and messages usually settle it, and getting them out is half the fun.
How long do we need to have been together?
A year at minimum, ideally more. Firsts Together works better for newer couples.
