How do you play Long Distance Truth or Dare?
Long Distance Truth or Dare is a version of the classic game where every dare works through a screen — sending a photo, showing a room, recording a voice note — rather than requiring physical contact. One partner reads the cards on a call and both take turns. It works over video, voice, or text.
How to play
- Get on a call. One of you opens the game — the other does not need the link.
- Take turns choosing Truth or Dare.
- The person with the game open reads the card out.
- Do it on camera or in the chat, whichever the card calls for.
- Skip anything that does not work with where you both are right now.
Why couples love this game
It gives a long-distance call something to do. The failure mode of a nightly call is that it becomes a status update; this puts an activity in the middle of it, and the send-me-something dares produce the small bits of daily texture that distance strips out.
The problem with playing Truth or Dare long distance is that roughly half the dares are impossible, and skipping them makes for a thin game.
