How do you play Foreplay Game?
The Foreplay Game uses timed rounds — kissing only for ten minutes, hands only for five, undressing one item every two minutes — so that neither partner can move on early. The clock is the mechanism: couples routinely agree to slow down and do not, because nothing external signals when to stop.
How to play
- Make sure you are properly alone.
- Pick a round and start the timer. The clock is not a suggestion.
- When it says ten minutes, it means ten minutes. Do not move on early.
- Run two or three rounds before anything else happens.
- Skip any round freely. No explanation needed.
Why couples love this game
The timer is the only mechanism that reliably works here. Every couple agrees in principle to slow down and then does not, because there is no external signal to stop. A clock that says four minutes remaining is not persuadable, and four minutes is usually longer than the entire build-up had been getting.
Foreplay gets compressed in long relationships for the same reason everything else does — both of you are efficient, tired, and know where this is going.
A timer fixes it in the simplest possible way. When a round says ten minutes and the clock is running, neither of you can move on early, and ten minutes is considerably longer than most couples have spent on this in a while.
It is 🌶️ but the whole deck is deliberately about the part before rather than the part after.
Example challenges
- Kissing only. Mouth, neck, jaw. Ten minutes. Nothing below the collarbone (600s)
- Hands everywhere clothes still allow. Five minutes. No undressing yet (300s)
- They stay still on their back. You use your mouth down their body, slowly (300s)
- Tell them, in filthy detail, what you are going to do. Touch nothing yet (180s)
- Undress them one item every two minutes. Kiss every new piece of skin (600s)
- Blindfold them. Your mouth and hands decide everything for five minutes (300s)
The full game has 24 of these, shuffled every time you play.
Who this game is best for
- Long-term couples who have become efficient
- An evening with the place to yourselves
- Anyone who has said "we should slow down" and not managed it
- Reunions after time apart
Tips to make it better
- Run the clock honestly. Stopping early is the exact habit this exists to break.
- The sixty-second full stop is the hardest round and the best one.
- Two or three rounds is plenty. This is a starter, not the evening.
- Sensual Massage Game is the 🔥 version if tonight wants slower rather than hotter.
Frequently asked questions
Why use a timer?
Because good intentions do not survive the moment. Every couple agrees to slow down and then speeds up, and a clock showing four minutes remaining is the only thing in the room that cannot be talked round.
How many rounds should we do?
Two or three. It is a starter rather than the whole evening, and running eight would defeat the point.
Is there a less explicit version?
Sensual Massage Game and Romantic Bedroom Games are both 🔥 rather than 🌶️, and both are about slowness rather than heat.
